Darone Nkem Okolie, also known as Ron, was born on January 31, 1994 in Washington, D.C. to Sheila Lucas and Alexander Okolie. His father is Nigerian. Since, Ron was born he considered John Ellis Nabinett Jr as his father (Police Officer & Former Football coach) While growing up, Ron traveled out of D.C. as much as possible because of the violence. He had the passion to perform but know opportunities. During his high school years, Ron began playing football/baseball and he soon received athlete of the year, MVP, MIP, etc. He landed a $50,000 scholarship to attend any University. He had an option Acting school at American Academy Of Dramatic Arts(AADA) or Clark Atlanta University(CAU). Ron attended (CAU) because he wanted that college experience and to be the first generation graduate from college. He used college as a way to chase his dreams as a actor and that brought him to Atlanta, Ga.
