Darragh Mortell - Biography

Darragh Mortell is a Actor/Writer/Director born in Newport, South Wales. Having landed a lead role in CBBC's The Story of Tracy Beaker, Darragh has gone on to star in multiple other CBBC productions such as Dani's house which ran for five seasons, BAFTA winning Diddy Movies and Diddy TV. Darragh also wrote and directed the web episodes for Dani's House spin off Dani's Castle as well as 2014 hit CBBC show Millie Inbetween.

In the world of adult TV, Darragh had the honour of closing the UK's longest running police drama The Bill in 2010 and starred in MTV's cult hit Dubplate Drama as well as popping up in a lot of the UK's favourite long running drama's.

In 2015 Darragh picked up the award for Best Experimental film at the London Independent film festival for his debut short film 'Peep Dish' staring himself, Jumayn Hunter and Skins alumni Georgia Henshaw.
