Born and raised in Rhode Island, Dave Shalansky moved on to receive a BFA in Acting from Boston University. After moving to New York City directly after graduation, he became very successful in TV commercials and continued advancing his acting career by working steadily in the New York and Regional Theatre circuits. After moving to Los Angeles, Shalansky landed several TV guest star roles and continues to work increasingly on TV, Film and in commercials. He is best known for his recurring character of Harry on the WB's Gilmore Girls. Dave is also a professional drummer and plays in various bands in Los Angeles.
