In 1990 David McSavage started his career as a performer on the streets and underground stations of Tokyo as a busker, singing songs by Bob Dylan, and the Beatles. David felt liberated as a result of this decision, because he didn't have to work very hard, and yet was able to make enough money to support himself, also up until this point he had been fired from most of the jobs he had. He also lost his virginity in Tokyo to a Japanese Woman called Takeo. After a year and a half in Tokyo David went to Amsterdam where he met Hannah Gnat from Poland, they had 2 children Daniel born in Ellag PolandJ Oct 13 1993, and Jack born in the Prince of Wales Hospital in Sydney Australia in 1999. Hannah and David Separated in 2010, but are very good friends. David finally stopped busking when he created the Savage Eye ( satirical comedy show) with with his comedy friends John Colleary, Patrick McDonnell, and Dermot McMurrow.... and Directors, Damien O Donnell, and Kieron Walsh. The show was picked up by RTE in 2009, and ran for 4 series. Possibly the best comedy show to be produced in Ireland.
