Dawn is best known for Selma, Devious Maids, The Boss and Lila & Eve. Dawn is also known for her southern drawl, smile, wit, facial expressions and though she's a giggler, her ability to not break character. Dawn typically has a guitar with her and rescues any animal in need and keeps dog/cat food in her car for them as well. Dawn graduated from college, with honors (Magna Cum Laude) as a double major, earning Bachelors Degrees in both Psychology and Sociology and she is FEMA Certified. Since becoming FEMA Certified, Dawn volunteers crisis and grief counseling services to victims and victims families of mass casualties, natural disasters, mass shootings, etc. Dawn is very involved in Multiple Sclerosis Awareness. She was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2011. In 2015, it progressed to the status of: Disability. Dawn started playing guitar to alleviate MS problems with her hands and guitar is now in her treatment regimen for MS. She enjoys guitars so much that she is now a collector. She has three guitars and hopes to add a Taylor, Martin and Gibson to the stable. She also hopes to be an MS and/or Disability Representative in the industry and partner it with Service Animals. Though Dawn enjoys acting, she has a strong interest in production and credits that interest in production to Ellen Schwartz. In Production, Dawn is an On Set Medical/Psychological Advisor, PA, and has also been a Standin and Animal Wrangler, using rescue animals. She is an independent Advisor/Consultant in the aforementioned areas in TV and film. Dawn is a huge advocate for Animal Rights and Welfare, which includes the prevention of animal abuse, animal cruelty, dog fighting, neglect, etc; as well as Humane Education. A pet is a lifetime commitment and shouldn't be viewed as cute and cuddly until it has an accident on the new carpet or chews up your favorite Jimmy Choos or Converse and then gets thrown outside or even worse, placed outside and chained to a tree. Dawn has a Yorkie, Cooper, whom she rescued from a puppy mill and a Flame Point Siamese rescue cat named Catrick Swayze.
