Deanna Pak - Biography

Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area to multi-ethnic immigrants, Deanna Pak has quite a diverse upbringing. She first stepped into the arts as a contemporary dancer and quickly became a member of the Skyline Performing Arts Academy at age 14, which led to roles in numerous plays and musicals. During her summer hiatus, she worked as a choreographer for Black Repertory Group in Berkeley, CA. In her last year with Skyline Performing Arts Academy, Pak won a dance medal and the Outstanding Female Performance of the Year in theatre.

At the age of 17, Pak relocated to study philosophy and dance at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Due to modeling opportunities, Pak doubled her work to graduate with a B.A. in Philosophy by the age of 20. She studied at the American Conservatory Theatre (ACT), while she worked on local independent films, theatre, and commercial work. Through modeling and acting, Pak was selected from thousands of girls to compete in the Miss California USA Pageant, representing North Bay USA. She placed in the top 20% of 218 contestants. Through this platform, Pak built strong business relationships and further opportunities to serve her community, including W.O.M.A.N., Inc. (Women Organized to Make Abuse Nonexistent) and Lifting Up Lives Organization.

After the pageant, Pak moved to Los Angeles. Within months, she made her television debut in pop music videos and shows. Later, Pak landed her first starring role in a feature film, "Prom Ride", with Hollywood's young stars. Since then, she has worked in numerous movies and television shows.
