Desi is an NYC-based comedian, actor, and writer. She sings and dances, too! She performs on Maude Night at The Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in Chelsea with her Maude team, Choir. She also does improv and sketch comedy regularly at The Annoyance in Brooklyn. She has a BA in Drama from Davidson College, and extensive training in Commedia Dell'Arte - considered by many to be the fountainhead of improv/sketch comedy - from The Accademia Dell'Arte in Tuscany. She made her Off-Broadway debut in a musical adaptation of Molière's "Scapin" at Theatre Row.
