Daughter to Tully Dickey Helfer and Carolyn Ione Van Patten. Youngest child. Sister to William Van Patten Helfer. Second marriage for mother. Three half siblings from mother's first marriage: Kathryne Shannon, Henry Shannon, and Betty Shannon. Born in Burbank, California and grew up in "The Valley." Original Valley Girl. Brother Henry known for training animals in "Beverly Hillbillies", "Petticoat Junction", "Green Acres", and numerous other TV shows and movies. Dian grew up training dogs, cats, pigeons, rabbits, and chickens. Dian lives in a rural suburb with her husband Jai Singh and their five goats, guinea pigs, cat, and dog. Dian has two daughters, Tamara Love Haser (married to Todd Haser) and Samantha Love Street (from two previous marriages to Robert Christy and Chris Street). She also has three grandchildren, Kayla Haser, Logan Haser, and Krystin Haser. Dian has a Bachelors Degree in Behav. Science. Just recently, Dian completed her M.S. in Psychology. She also has three books which will be published soon. She also worked two years on her Masters in Oriental Medicine. She also is a also a writer, director, producer, paralegal, licensed massage therapist, Realtor, and certified interior decorator. She is related to the Van Pattens and Helfers.
