Diana Andreea Stefanescu was born in Iasi, Romania, daughter of Irina and Cristian Stefanescu, older sister of Alexandra Stefanescu, grand-daughter of the famous writer, Boris Craciun ( man of literature, TV, and radio), and Aurora Craciun, Literature Teacher, and Director of University, from whom Diana inherited the artistic talent of writing and performing.
She attended "G. Ibraileanu" highschool, Iasi, humanistic profile (2000-2004). After that she tried to diversify her development area starting to participate in beauty contests like : "Miss Boboc", "Miss Summertime Iasi", "Miss Iasi", and got her initiation into modeling, starting with a few photo shootings for "Just for Girls", "Maxim", "Click", "UPS", "Casa Wanda", "Act Start", "Bijoux", "Kiss me". Then she went to present for famous fashion houses like : "Agnes Thomas"(bride dresses), "Casa Wanda"; She contributed to an advertisment in Austria for Anti-AIDS campaign and an advertisment for a fishing contest.
Diana participated as a host for Romexpo, Auto Fair, Romanian Grand Prix, Formula 1, where she interacted with the guests and visitors of the event, supporting the smooth running of the event, providing information according to customer requirements.
As an aviation passionate, Diana graduated as a flight attendant at AACR (Authoritative Romanian Civil Aviation). In 2009 she enrolled in the "Faculty of Journalism , Radio and Television", and worked as a presenter-editor at Antena 1 Ploiesti.
In the year 2010 , she graduated School of Television (SDDT), where she had the honor and pleasure to have as teachers : Teo Trandafir - entertainment in television, Sandra Stoicescu - journalism Carmen Ivanov - speech technique, Vlad Ionescu - technical presentation of news and sports , Mihaela Calin - television presentation practice ; Ferenc Vasas - written drafting techniques and drafting techniques of information, Bogdan Ionescu - foundation video editing, personal marketing techniques.
She began her acting career in 2011 as 'Melissa' in the film called "Statue Collector", role that she got after attending a casting call. During 2010 - 2011, she attended three semesters at Danish Academy for Film and Acting, and geting another role in a movie from the same producer, called " The Edge of Shadow" in Copenhagen, Denmark. In 2011 she visited her parents in Canada, graduating " Concordia University Summer English Language" to improve her english skills.
