Stunning black beauty Dominique Simone was born on June 18, 1971 in Valdosta, Georgia. Raised in a Southern Baptist household, Simone originally planned on becoming a singer. Dominique moved to Los Angeles, California at age 17 after winning a scholarship to attend the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. Simone answered an ad for figure modeling at age 18 and soon thereafter started doing nude photo shoots for such adult publications as Hustler and Players. Moreover, Dominique also worked as a manager at a clothing store prior to embarking on a career in explicit hardcore movies in 1990. One of the top black adult cinema performers of the 1990's, Simone appeared in a slew of X-rated features for an array of top companies that include Devil's Film, Wicked Pictures, Prestige Video, Filmco Releasing, Arrow Productions, Fantastic Pictures, Coast To Coast, West Coast Productions, and Leisure Time Entertainment. The mother of two children, Dominique has since retired from the adult film industry. She was inducted into the AVN Hall of Fame in 2007.
