Donnell Turner - Biography

Described by Soap Opera Network as "General Hospital's Newest Hunk," actor and motivational speaker, Donnell Turner is giving the fans of Daytime plenty to talk about across social media, and grocery store tabloids. And while the Hollywood epicenter of Los Angeles is Mr. Turner's home, his travels take him around the World as an artist and entertainment professional.

Donnell Turner is originally from Tacoma, Washington. He lived for a stint in Chicago and Sacramento before ultimately relocating to LA to pursue his passions in sports and acting. Donnell's natural proclivity for basketball made him a standout. Playing professional basketball was so much apart of Turner that the possibility of a career in the sport was played out as a semi-pro point guard. However it was his acting that would become the driving and overwhelming force that would turn his dreams of being on stage into an actual reality.

In addition to his impeccable charm and daring talent, Donnell capitalized on his model looks. To date he has secured more than a 100 print and commercial campaigns in Europe, Asia, and North America. As Turner's reputation for onscreen excellence became more consistent, his work in television, stage, and film naturally increased, leading to performances that were spotlighted by the Rochester Film Festival, and the Houston Film Festival in 2008.
