Dreah Marie was born in Houston, Texas and comes from a multi-ethnic background. Both her paternal and maternal ancestry share European (French, Italian, Scottish) Native American ( Cherokee, Iriqous) and African American roots. Being daddy's baby girl and having many of his entertaining qualities, a common trait in the Louisiana Creole culture, it was no wonder that Dreah had a natural ability to perform. Her parents noticed her desire and passion for the arts and she began training in dance, music and theater at an early age. Unfortunately, Dreah's father, an electrical engineer who worked for NASA, passed when she was eight years old, leaving her mother to raise two children by herself. Becoming deeply impacted by her father's premature death; Dreah's career pursuits focused solely on medicine. However, after completion of medical school Dreah quickly returned to her childhood dreams of pursuing a full time career in the entertainment industry. Dreah Marie can be seen on print ads, commercials, on stage, television and films, including but not limited to Veda (2015), Joy Comes in the Morning (2015), Be Not Afraid (2015), A Day to Remember (2016), Downward (2016) and Abortifacient (2016).
