Dustin Coffey studied theatre in high school and at the University of LaVerne before graduating from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in Los Angeles. He then started working with his coach Alex D'Lerma of UCLA. Dustin grew up in Ventura, California and different regions of Texas. He resides in Los Angeles. Dustin was born in Ventura, California, to Debra K Coffey, a hairdresser, and Richard K Coffey, an oil field worker. His mother's parents were from Kansas and Missouri, and his father's parents were from Arkansas and California. Dustin's great grandfather and great uncle were both radio personalities.
