Actor/Writer/Director/Casting Producer

Elaine Del Valle owns and operates Del Valle Productions, Inc.- a SAG-AFTRA, WGA-East signatory full service production company, certified by The Council as a Minority Business Enterprise. Elaine is a proud member of NYWIFT, NAMIC AWNY, NALIP & NATAS.

Del Valle received the 2015 MADRINA award at Prime Latino Media. She was named "Trendsetter" at the 2013 MultiCultural Media Forum, and has been recognized by CNN en Español, The Hispanic Organization for Latin Actors, Fox News, NBC News and the New York Times, amongst others.

Elaine Del Valle began an acting career in 1994. She studied acting at Carnegie Hall under the legendary Wynn Handman. As a Latina Actress, Elaine became increasingly aware at the lack of leading roles available to Hispanic actors; as such she wrote and developed her true coming of age story as a one woman stage play, Brownsville Bred. Brownsville Bred took the theater festival market by storm, winning several awards before being picked up for full production, eventually bringing her to the prestigious 59E59 Theaters. Critically acclaimed, Brownsville Bred garnered Del Valle a dedicated following. Elaine performed the one woman stage play at multiple venues, including New York's legendary Nuyorican Poets Cafe, where it became the most successful running play in the famed art house 37 year history. Many "Special Presentations" were performed at and by the request of such noted names as The Time Warner Corporation and New York City's Summer Stage.

Elaine's move from theater to writing and film production came by way of what was also her directorial debut, and first web series, Reasons Y I'm Single. (reasons.com) Elaine's production company, Del Valle Productions, soon became sought after for its truthful insights into the urban latino experience, writing style, quality productions, and casting of on camera talent. Del Valle has since cast and/or produced many short films, features, documentary, commercial and web series. Her clients include McDonald's, BET, Discovery, Comedy Central, Chobani, Jack Links, Time, Inc, AARP, Walgreens, Capital One and more.

In 2015 Elaine was responsible for pitching and later negotiating a "first of its kind" deal for interstitial programming to the HBO Network. Her original web series production of Gran'pa Knows Best (by William D. Caballero) began airing on the Network in September 2015 and its second season is set to debut Summer 2016.

Elaine is adapting her multiple award winning stage play, and true coming of age story into a feature length film.
