Eli Grier Hayes was born on November 5th, 1993 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He fell in love with cinema at a relatively early age upon viewing the works of directors such as David Lynch and Terrence Malick. Eli began screenwriting as he entered high school, but did not direct his first short film until his senior year. In 2012, he enrolled at Ithaca College in Ithaca, New York where he studies psychology and continues to screen-write and direct. Eli will stop at nothing to become a professional filmmaker.
