Elicia Stokes Navarro was born to her Mother in Chicago, Illinois. She attended Alexander Graham Bell Elementary School, where through a series of tests they found out that she was severely visually impaired; legally blind, She then was sent to Jacksonville Illinois where she attended The Illinois School for the Visually Impaired. At age 12 she was taken in by a Jewish Family in Highland Park, Illinois which then changed her life dramatically. Although Elicia had severe eye problems she refused to let that stop her from living her dream. The dream of becoming an actress. Through several eye surgeries, she went from walking with a cane for the blind and reading braille, to having her very own drivers license. When this happened it opened a whole new world for Elicia and things changed for her for the better.
Her acting career was discovered in 1998 while working as a showgirl in Las Vegas, Nevada. She has worked on several projects throughout the years, including modeling, acting, theater and dance and Karate, but in 2010 was when her acting career really took off. She had a dream of becoming an actress and through hard work and loyalty she has and continues to obtain her goal. She is a beautiful and talented woman and works ongoing with her acting coach Adam Hill (Craft acting Studios) and private coach Tim Colceri. She has landed several principal roles successfully.
