Elizabeth Ann Roberts was born at Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, Virginia to Barbara Kidd and Dennis Roberts. She grew up in Salem, Virginia and attended Salem High School. Elizabeth fell in love with acting as a child and started performing in school productions and community theater. She graduated magna cum laude with degrees in theatre and English from Virginia Tech.
Right after college, Roberts landed the role of Juliet touring with Shenandoah Shakespeare Express' Romeo & Juliet, her first paying job as a professional actor. Soon afterward, she began performing in various theatrical productions up and down the east coast including Buried Child, Our Country's Good and a stint with Philadelphia's New Paradise Laboratories.
While living in Wilmington, NC, she landed her first film role on Black Knight. Years later she found herself back in the Carolinas for her first television role on Dawson's Creek and the coming of age film Remember the Daze.
In 2006 she made the move to Los Angeles and began appearing on hit TV series such as Southland, Criminal Minds, Bones, Heroes, CSI, House, Days of Our Lives and Medium.
