Emily Haigh - Biography

Emily Katherine Elizabeth Haigh born in Devon, England, began her acting career at the age of 4. Following an invitation to go on stage at a magic show in Lapland, Emily became fascinated by performing and within the same year was enlisted at The Leonard School of Dramatic Art. By the age of 7, Emily made her first television appearance on a children's programme on CBBC. Growing up Emily stayed active within the industry, forming her craft as an extra on various shows as well as providing voice over for films such as James Bond: Quantum of Solace and St Trinians. By the age of 12 Emily began securing numerous agency castings including Jane Eyre, and Casualty, where she was asked to return for a future episode four years later. Emily soon found herself cast for a range of music videos for artists such as IKO, Fire Thesaurus, Vivid Nation and Maddy Carty. In 2012 Emily was awarded Gold Medal in the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts, a medal she obtained while actively pursuing her various hobbies including kick boxing, surfing, professional dance training such as Ballet, Ballroom, Salsa, and Contemporary Dance. In 2014, Emily was cast in the role of Georgina in 'Goodnight, Gloria' in response to her outstanding performance on her participation on a music video released by the film's director the previous year.
