Enni Ojutkangas - Biography

Enni Ojutkangas was born in northern Finnish city called Rovaniemi. She grew up in a village on the outskirts of the city. She made her film debut at the age of seven in Rikos ja Rakkaus (Crime and Love).

After graduation from high school in 2010, she spent a year as an interviewer for economic research. The following year she started her acting studies at Finnish Theatre Academy (Suomen Teatteriopisto) in Tampere. She graduated from Standard Studies in Acting in 2012 and Further Studies in Acting in 2013 and received the Most Improved Acting Award in both years.

Enni then moved to Helsinki where she studied at Musical Theatre Acting School Musti (Musiikkiteatteri Musti) alongside her theatre research studies at University of Helsinki in 2013.

In 2014, she was casted in a lead part, which was written specifically for her, in a horror comedy splatter feature film Bunny The Killer Thing. This was her eighth collaboration with the particular film company, and sixth with the director Joonas Makkonen.

In November 2014 Enni won a tied 'Best Actress' award with her role in the short film "The Fine Artists', in an international, world's biggest 72 hour film contest Four Points Film Project (previously known as National Film Challenge, USA.) The film was also directed by Joonas Makkonen, and it won the contest as a best film, and got several other awards (Best Music Score, Best Cinematography, Best Directing and Best Thriller/Suspense Film at the race.)
