Eric Michael Roy was born in New York City as Eric Michael Schneider. He took on the name Roy to honor the passing of his father and inspiration; photographer Roy Schneider. He is a film, TV, and stage actor, known for Hemingway & Gellhorn (2012), Law & Order SVU (2010-2011), Boardwalk Empire (2010) and the Broadway production of Jersey Boys (2007-2008).
Eric is also an accomplished photographer and painter, with works printed in publications throughout the world. His singing and songwriting talents have lead him to write and perform original material for television, most notably ABC.
Eric resides in Los Angeles with his fiancé, actress Kelly Sullivan.
