Erica L. Ross is a stage and screen actress born and raised in Los Angeles. As a child she was drawn to sports and the arts. She took a fall program of performing arts classes but did not pursue a career. That would come after graduating from San Francisco State University, majoring in Psychology, and being a nursing home social worker.
During this career, she realized she had never been satisfied by any "normal" job. Each was challenging in its own way, but she felt happiest when being creative. It was at this time she made the decision to take more classes and pursue a career in entertainment.
