Ethan Paisley - Biography

Ethan Brooks Paisley was born in Austin, Texas on August 1st, 2000. His career commenced at age eight when he made his stage debut in It's A Wonderful Life (2008) as Young Bert/Billy. In years following, Paisley starred as Max in Where The Wild Things Are (2009), Puck in A Midsummer Night's Dream (2010), Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors (2012), and as various other lead roles in local theater productions.

While working towards a career in theatre, Ethan Paisley was also drawn to the world of film acting. In 2011, Paisley co-starred in psychological horror, The Girl With The Red Ribbon, produced by the film program at Sonoma State University. After the film released, Paisley continued theatre acting and appeared as Gavroche in Les Miserables (2012), The Wolf/Cinderella's Prince in Into The Woods (2013), and Rooster in Annie (2013).

As his theatre career progressed, so did that in film production. In 2012, Ethan Paisley launched a comic, spoof style YouTube series that accumulated over 400,000 video views and gained over 2,250 subscribers. While producing a web series on YouTube, Paisley was also working on more serious projects such as Victoria's Vengeance (2014), Forgotten Me (2014), and Sonance (2014), all of which he wrote, directed, and shot for. In summer of 2014, Paisley attended Idyllwild Arts where he broadened his film skills and prepared for his venture into a more serious film career.

Since then, Paisley has shot for independent shorts such as The Book (2014), Understanding (2014), and Broken Together (2015). He has also just recently entered post-production for The Art of Escape, a film he wrote, directed, and shot. He hopes it can be his breakthrough movie as a film artist.

Meanwhile, Ethan Paisley has maintained a consistent acting career, having just recently starred as Romeo in a stage production of Romeo and Juliet (2015), and Daniel in award winning Independent film, Unspoken (2015). He plans on appearing in Taming of The Shrew as Biondello later this year and possibly a commercial for a new app, Smash.
