After having trained first at A.C.T. in San Francisco, Faleena moved to Los Angeles and worked behind and in front of the camera. A professional photographer for a decade, she photographed 3 NYC Fashion Weeks, and was published in 5 magazines. A stand-up comic for 5 years, she performed at The Improv and Comedy Store regularly, wrote and performed a one-woman show acclaimed in LA Weekly and Backstage, and was singled out by Variety, LA Times, and Hollywood Reporter for her lead role in the feature film Close Call. In 2013 she began writing novels and as of 2016 has over 13 published, with one a #1 bestseller on Amazon. Her web series The Russian Spy, she wrote and directed, and has plans to move into features next, with her first script Just One More Kiss, written and in Pre-Production as of March 2016.
