Faneal Godbold, an American actor was born on May 30, 1978 in Fayetteville, NC. Daughter of Charlotte and Larry Godbold, Faneal discovered a love for acting in junior high school, where she joined the school's drama program. During this time, Godbold co-wrote and starred in several plays along with friends and class mates. Faneal soon became involved in sports which took the majority of her spare time throughout junior high and high school. She attended Fayetteville State University and Charleston Southern University where she obtained her BS in Criminal Justice. It was in college that Faneal returned to studying performing arts and music appreciation. Godbold graduated college and pursued a career in law enforcement where she trained extensively with tactical weapons and police procedures. After several years in law enforcement, Faneal was approached by Investigate Discovery to film a segment on a murder that she had investigated. This occurrence rekindled the passion of acting and Godbold decided to start acting classes and training to pursue her early dreams of acting. Faneal now utilizes her law enforcement training not only as an actor but also as a law enforcement liaison on set, specializing in police tactics, SWAT, tactical driving, and stunts.
