Fernando Lebrija, born in Guadalajara Mexico. He completed a Masters in Fine arts in Film at the American Film Institute. Also a year of postgraduate studies in Screenwriting at UCLA, as well as completing directing course at USC, also in Los Angeles. Before moving to Los Angeles in 2001, Fernando had a successful career as a Television Director-Producer, producing over 30 TV shows for big TV networks like Fox Sports, MTV, and Televisa Networks. Fernando also directed a number of music videos, and many commercial campaigns for brands like Mini-cooper, Honda, Time Earner, Snapple and many others. With his film directorial debut, Amar a Morir, Fernando won and been nominated for multiple awards. Winning the prestigious award for Best film debut Director in the Diosas De Plata Aawrds 2010 (Mexican Golden Globes), he also won the New Vision Award in the Santa Barbara International Film Festival. In the Guadalajara International Film Festival won the award for Best Feature Film from Jalisco. Amar a Morir received many more nominations and was invited to many other Festivals around the world. Fernando's now finishing post for his first English speaking movie "Sundown", with Camilla Belle, Teri Hatcher, Devon Werkheiser, Jordi Molla, Sara Paxton and DJ's Steve Aoki and Paul Oakenfold. And he is shooting a new Surfing-drama called "Riding to the light". Plus developing more screenplays for TV-series and Features films.
