Gabriela Fresquez - Biography

Gabriela Fresquez is an actress and television host. She is a Los Angeles native of Mexican, Italian and Spanish descent. She graduated from the University of Southern California where she studied journalism.

Fresquez has hosted and co-hosted multiple TV shows including LATV's Latin Nation, the award-winning, nationally syndicated show that takes a look at the Latino experience on American culture, as well as the Documentary Channel's, Doc Talk, a behind-the-scenes look at award-winning, documentary films. As an actress, Fresquez recently co-starred in the CBS comedy, The Crazy Ones, playing a television reporter alongside Robin Williams and Sarah Michelle Gellar. She has also starred in numerous national commercial campaigns including Bing, McDonald's and T.G.I.Fridays.

Beyond her television career, Fresquez has worked on multiple grassroots political campaigns and non-profit organizations. She has been able to successfully fuse her diverse background with the entertainment world and continues to study acting at the Lesly Kahn Institute. Some of her biggest inspirations include George Carlin, John Stewart, Cate Blanchett and Oprah Winfrey.
