Gabrielle Ruiz - Biography

Gabrielle was born in Edinburg, TX. Both her parents, Eduardo and Sylvia are of Mexican-American decent.

She studied dance at a very young age and was a natural lover of performance. She was classically trained in vocal technique, her training credited to public school education. Gabrielle was inspired to be a professional performer at the age of 12 during her first visit to New York City and saw her first Broadway show. She studied at Oklahoma City University and landed Television and Broadway credits immediately after obtaining her Bachelors in Performing Arts. For a decade, she's been in many Broadway shows and landed her breakthrough role in television as Valencia in Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.

In additional to acting, Gabrielle is an advocate for inspiring the next generation of professional performers with motivational speaking and master classes.
