Gary Reimer - Biography

English actor Gary Reimer was born in Watford, England, to Linda Reimer and Stephen Reimer, a chartered accountant. Spending 5 Years in Canada where he gained duel nationality before returning to England and growing up in West Sussex. As a child, he was extremely adventurous, excelling at show jumping, fencing and archery. Later at school he devoted most of his active time to football, rugby and athletics, where he was extremely accomplished at running. Academically he was gifted in maths and science but couldn't escape his passion for theater and acting. After school he joined a community theater group where he performed A walk With Grimm's with Newton Faulkner) who later went on to musician). He gained entry to BYU's drama school in 2007 after graduating a two-year film school course. He decided to attend BYU due to the success of Aaron Eckhart, Jon Heder and the accomplished playwright/director Neil Labut, with further appeal coming with the chance to work as an actor with the film school next door, whose alumni include Jared Hess of Napoleon Dynamite fame. He graduated with a 3-year acting degree in Aug 2010. He is the oldest of 4, his younger brother attending the film school, specializing in editing.
