Gemma Laurelle - Biography

Starting acting later in life, Gemma left her career in the law and moved across Australia many times for work. Her strong and engaging screen presence has led to her being cast in main roles, carving a niche in the thriller, action drama and science fiction genres.

Her love of adventure lead her to pursue training in the use of multiple weapons and firearms, along with experimenting with a variety of martial art forms, including Muay Thai, kick-boxing, Kung Fu and Keysi fighting method for screen. Gemma holds an international qualification in sword (17th Century) and unarmed stage combat technique. She enjoys scuba-diving, wire work and motion capture.

Gemma's lower-pitched and calm voice also gained attention, seeing her perform voice-overs for video game characters and narrating for film, radio and documentaries.

Being a gamer girl at heart, Gemma is keen to expand her involvement in the video game & film industries.

Despite her dominating stature, Gemma is a down-to-earth actress with a quirky sense of humor, who is becoming popular in action adventures, the video game to film market, and the Sci-Fi genre.
