Giovanni Mazza - Biography

Giovanni is a young actor who spends time in both Chicago and Los Angeles. He has appeared in lead and supporting roles in several independent festival films, including Saving John Murphy (2014), For Ian, Farewell, Charlie (2015), Paracosm (2015), and Baggage (2013).

Although Giovanni has been performing on violin since age 3, Giovanni's first acting performance was at age 7 in a school play. Shortly after, Giovanni repeatedly told his parents that he wanted to act on TV. His parents took his desires seriously, and Giovanni signed with a talent agent and began training. At age 8, Giovanni was cast as a recurring principal in ten SAG national Walmart commercials. Shortly after, he had his TV debut, co-starring on an episode of Nickelodeon's Bella et les Bulldogs (2015).

Giovanni prides himself in being an athlete and playing on organized sports with his friends--soccer, basketball, and baseball. He is also an avid reader of fantasy fiction.

He continues his violin training and performs regularly as a soloist and as part of an orchestra.

Giovanni's father is of Italian decent, and his mother is of mixed European decent.
