Gregor Fisher first rose to fame when he was cast in the 1978 sketch show Scotch and Wry and his success was consolidated when he was cast in the 1986 sketch show Naked Video alongside Tony Roper, Helen Lederer, Elaine C Smith, Jonathon Watson, Ron Bain, Andy Gray, John Sparkes, Louise Beattie and Kate Donnelly, the television show was a spin of from the popular radio series Naked Radio. Gregor is best known for his role as Rab C Nesbitt, in the hugely popular sitcom series of the same name {which was spun off from Naked Video, Gregor also starred in another spin series from Naked Video, The Baldy Man, however that show was less successful. He also starred in the 1999 sitcom Brotherly Love which failed to succeed, another failure was the 2002 sitcom Snoddy, Fisher now lives in Ayrshire.
