Hannah Griffith is best known for her angel like character Jodie in the 27 time Award-winning and 38 time Award-nominated Television Series "Underbelly". Hannah also played the role of Angel in Geoffrey Wright's Award-winning and 6 time Award-nominated Feature Film "Macbeth". A contemporary retelling of Shakespeare's "Macbeth" set in the gangland's of Melbourne, Hannah's home town where she was born and raised. The fair skinned beauty is of English and Irish decent. Young Hannah's first love was horse riding. She started horse riding as a child and competed in Equestrian events winning prizes all over Australia. In school Hannah's favorite subjects were Literature and Creative Writing. Her first stage role was Helena, in Shakespeare's "A Mid Summer Nights Dream". Hannah spent lunch breaks and after school in the theatre rehearsing her school plays. In middle school she started working as model and has featured in leading magazines and advertising campaigns including the very popular "Nintendo" TV commercials with Australian mega star Olivia Newton-John. Hannah studied Drama and Theatre Studies at the Victorian College of the Arts in Melbourne, Victoria. She was selected out of a Nationwide search to study with the Australian Institute of Performing Arts (AIPA) in Los Angeles as part of their first prestigious Professional Actors Masterclass.
