Héctor Aníbal - Biography

Héctor Aníbal Estrella Pantaleón is an actor and singer born on February 26 1975 in San Francisco of Macorís, Dominican Republic.

He started his career at the age of 7, recording jingles for radio stations and local brands.

From1993 to 1999 he was lead singer of the reggae/fusion group Trans-fusion.

Héctor Aníbal has developed a significant acting career by participating in the musicals " Grease", "Jesus Christ Superstar" where he played the role of Judas, "Les Miserables" playing the role of Enjolras, "Cats" as Munkunstrap, "Chicago" playing the lawyer Billy Flynn, "Snow White", "Man of La Mancha", "Dreamgirls" as Curtis Taylor Jr., "RENT" as Roger Davis and "Legally Blonde" as Emmet Forrest.

Hector Anibal has served as spokesperson for major advertising campaigns and has lent his voice in a number of jingles. The actor and singer has also developed a career as a television producer and host.

In January 2012 he played the antagonist in "Perla Anfitriona", in the Dominican production of " Mujeres Asesinas ".
