Imogen Tear - Biography

Imogen Tear is an actress best known for her roles as 'Hattie' in the CBC Television & Hallmark Channel TV series entitled, 'When Calls The Heart' starring Erin Krakow ('Army Wives'/'Castle') and Daniel Lissing ('Last Resort'), directed by Neill Fearnley.

Imogen also had a big leading role in 'The Magic Stocking' starring Bridget Regan ('John Wick'), Victor Webster (Continuum') and Iris Quinn (Twilight Saga'), directed by David Winning and Produced by Maura Dunbar for The Hallmark Channel.

Imogen is well known for her principal lead role in the highly anticipated movie adaption of the best selling book, 'My Sweet Audrina' by Virginia C. Andrews. 'My Sweet Audrina' stars William Mosley ('Chronicles of Narnia') and India Eisley ('Underworld') and is directed by Mike Rohl/Produced by Harvey Kahn for Lifetime Television. Moviepilot.com has quoted Andrew Neiderman (VC Andrews' Ghost Writer) as stating, "the film ('My Sweet Audrina') is the best out of the five previous V.C. Andrews book/Dollanganger movies".

Imogen has also worked with Director Terry Ingram and Producer Harvey Kahn on the family Christmas movie entitled, 'Tis The Season For Love' starring Sarah Lancaster ('Chuck') and Brendan Penny ('Motive') for Bravo and The Hallmark Channel.

Imogen appears in the pilot episode of 'Evil Men' a CBS/USA Network TV Production and has done numerous short films and web series including: 'What We Once Were', as well as 'Nephew' (starring Louise Portal and Yves Jacques from Denys Arcand's, Oscar winning film, 'Barbarian Invasions').

From a very young age Imogen knew she wanted to become an actor. After 2 years of begging her parents to enroll her into acting classes, they finally did and there's been no looking back for her - she's hooked!

Imogen currently trains with Julian LeBlanc and the LeBlanc School of Acting.
