A former soldier who served with the U.S. Army Rangers, Ingo is the son of Major James Neuhaus, a decorated Vietnam veteran. Ingo was born in Karlsruhe, Germany on February 19, 1969, and grew up in a military family. After graduating from high school, Ingo joined the US Army for four years, and served with the elite 1st Ranger Battalion, 75th Ranger Rgt. He is a graduate of the US Army Airborne school, and the US Army Ranger school, both in Fort Benning, Georgia. Ingo was also a longtime resident of Austin, Texas, where he attended college and performed with the renowned Esther's Follies, the premiere comedy troupe of Texas. He arrived in Los Angeles in 1994, and was cast in the pilot for ER as a young policeman.
