Isabel Serrano - Biography

Actress, writer and singer Isabel Serrano has worked with acclaimed directors and actors throughout the world. Her film credits include Mario Camus' "The Return of El Coyote," "On Earth as It Is in Heaven," from renowned Spanish director Jose Luis Cuerda, and "Parallel Lives" from Cuban director Pastor Vega. She is currently attached to the upcoming feature "The Million Dollar Date" with Tom Sizemore and Manny Perez. On stage, Isabel has worked with such prestigious directors as Daniel Börh (Denmark), Omar Grasso (Argentina), Celso Cleto (Portugal), Gerardo Maya, Josep Maria Mestres (Spain), and John Malkovich. Born in Spain, she began her career as a dancer and moved into stage acting. She was featured in in the plays "Don Juan Tenorio," Agatha Christie's "The Mousetrap" and "Hysteria," directed by Malkovich, among many others. Serrano has also acted in more than 20 television series in Spain, Puerto Rico and Venezuela. It was her unforgettable performance as "Adelina," in the renowned TV Hit "Love in Turbulent Times," that made her a household name in her native country. Her experience as an actress in several countries and venues throughout the world has developed her versatility as an actress, and a competent performer. Serrano recently directed a stage reading of her play: "Darling, Since you are up, Anyway".
