Actress, producer, writer and musical artist, Jackie Quinones is a proficient "jack of all trades". The former gymnast, dancer, and violinist, turned writer and thespian, garnered her flair for the dramatic as a child with a love for music and the spotlight.
Jackie began her career in entertainment as an assistant studio director at the prominent Daddy's House Recording studios under Bad Boy Entertainment, renowned for its stream of chart topping hits and musical longevity. While there she worked closely under rap mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs and one of his most famed producers Mario "Yellowman" Winans. Jackie also honed her skills as an artist writing her own songs and recording hooks for accomplished artists such as 112, Mario Winans, The Hoodfellaz and The END, among others.
Jackie's music career continued to flourish and she obtained a position at Busta Rhymes' Flipmode Entertainment, a subsidiary label of music industry mogul Clive Davis' J Records. She secured her next position at the esteemed Violator Management owned by music industry heavyweights Chris Lighty and Mona Scott representatives of artists such as LL Cool J, 50 Cent and Macy Gray.
Jackie made the transition into acting when she was cast in a major supporting role in the 2003 independent, breakthrough film Anne B. Real. Jackie's first day of work on set prompted the producers to expand her role so Jackie could more fully demonstrate her talents playing the comedic, quirky sidekick, Kitty. The two-time Independent Spirit Award nominated film helped Jackie make her mark as one of New York's newest rising talents.
Ms. Quinones went on to star in the independent short film Doc and Carol before landing a supporting role in the independent feature A Lesson in Time, and a featured role in the Columbia Pictures film Freedomland starring Samuel L. Jackson and Julianne Moore. Shortly after she landed a starring role in director Mario Van Peebles' action packed film Hard Luck. In this film Jackie plays a feisty but funny multi-layered pole dancer as she stars opposite her character's love interest Wesley Snipes. In Lone Star Trixie, she works with Richard Dreyfus taking on the role of a typical sexy LA girl struggling to strike it big in the film business.
Jackie brought her talent to television when she joined the nationally syndicated American Latino TV and LatiNation as their on-air correspondent in 2005. She then went on to co-star in the popular television drama series CSI:NY.
She has also delved into radio and the voice over market. Jackie spreads her voice by speaking her mind as a regular guest speaker on New York's Hot 97.1 topical radio talk show Street Soldiers hosted by Lisa Evers. This helped lead to her starring voice-over role as Bonita on the 2008 breakthrough animated tongue-in-cheek pilot entitled Breakin' It Down With Bonita - a hilarious two minute segment released as a weekly show on a worldwide platform via Fox and Myspace.
Jackie most recently wrapped principal photography on both an independent feature in Peru entitled The Color Of Hope, a guest-starring role on Discovery Channel's Lost Tapes as well as a series regular role on Dish Network's Cursed and leading roles in the short film One Way Street, the original stage play A Memory of What Might Have Been and the multi-award winning Broadway hit Latinologues.
