Jake Green was born in San Jose, California. He began acting professionally in San Francisco at age 12, appearing in national commercials and independent films. It was also at this time that he started playing ice hockey, as a goaltender for the Santa Clara Blackhawks. After high school, Green left California to play Junior League Hockey in Canada, but an injury brought an early end to his athletic career. Following this, he turned his full focus on acting, training at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art and earning his BFA from Boston University's School of Theatre. Aside from his work on the screen and in the theatre, Green is also an accomplished voice-over artist, having voiced the national primetime promos for NBC and the national campaigns for multiple brands.
