Jamar Greene - Biography

Jamar Greene is an actor from Brooklyn who's large 6' 4" frame immediately commands attention. He began acting in his teenage years and went on to receive training at Delaware State University where he gained experience through theater. This ultimately lead to independent films and subsequently film and television.

As a teenager, Jamar used to record the audio from his favorite movies off of the television. He would then play the audio at bedtime as well as his walkman as he traveled to and from school so he could visualize the scenes in his head. This obsessive behavior to be great is only one example of what has lead him to stand out amongst his peers and bring his dreams to fruition. In 2014 he signed a management contract with Dream Maker Talent which assisted him in receiving tons of audition opportunities. Jamar took advantage of these opportunities by landing co-star roles on shows like "The Mysteries Of Laura" (NBC), "Difficult People" (HULU) and most recently a guest star role on "Gotham" (FOX). Jamar will also be featured in this summer's highly anticipated "Money Monster" starring Julia Roberts and George Clooney, directed by the incomparable Jodie Foster.

Jamar believes that all of his accomplishments are due to his faith in God, his dedication to the craft and his resiliency to keep fighting for what he wants. "If I'm not casted for a role I honestly feel that it wasn't meant for me and I'm fine with that. The goal is not to land every role but to take full advantage of the roles I am chosen for."
