Jamie Costa - Biography

James "Jamie" Edward Costa was born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina. He attended Massanutten Military Academy, and graduated as the highest ranking cadet. After a short stint at The Citadel, James transferred to North Greenville University and became involved in the theater program there. It was at this point that he began to explore his love of entertainment and performing in online projects.

After attending the film program at the Los Angeles Film Studies center, and graduating from NGU in 2012, James worked as a valet and at a local country club, while focusing much of his efforts into his work online (particularly on YouTube and Vine) and with his regional talent agency. He split his time between narrative stories, and comedic shorts, many focused on his impressions of various celebrities and famous film characters. He also became widely known for capturing the likeness and spirit of Robin Williams.

James moved to Los Angeles in 2015 to further pursue a career in acting and entertainment. Since then, he performed at an SNL showcase, which led to him being signed by William Morris Endeavor. He now continues to produce his own content, work on independent projects, and audition for various projects. Some highlights include performing at the Geeky Awards as Marty McFly, animation voiceover for James Patterson's new line of children's books, dozens of viral videos, and daily entertaining thousands of his followers on social media.

In his free time, James enjoys exercising, being outdoors, and of course, watching movies. He maintains a list of hundreds of films he wants to watch, and is adding to it daily. He counts Theodore Roosevelt, C.S. Lewis and his father Milton Costa as major influences, and is a dedicated Christian who strives every day to live in the image of Christ. He hopes someday to start and raise a family, but for now is happy to explore all the new and exciting things that life is offering!
