Jamie Harrold was born and raised in Taylorville, Illinois. His father was a cross-country truck driver, as was his grandfather. His mother came from a long line of coal miners, (his oldest brother mines). He graduated from The Academy (Chicago's High School for the Arts) and received his B.F.A. from The Theatre School at DePaul University. Jamie most recently costarred opposite David Rakoff in The New Tenants (2009) which won Best Live Action Short from The Academy Awards (2010). Guest TV appearances include: New York - Police judiciaire (1990), New Amsterdam (2008 tv series), New York - Section criminelle (2001) and Cracker: Mind Over Matter (1997 tv series). He lives in Smallwood, New York and New York City.
