Jency Griffin - Biography

Jency Griffin is a dynamic, powerhouse actress who has received rave reviews for the strong heroines that she has brought to life on stage and screen. Originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, she lived in Los Angeles for 7 years, where she auditioned and worked on a vast array of films. Perhaps most memorably, this SAG actress delved deeply into her craft by studying with some of the most acclaimed acting teachers in the world. She learned on-camera technique with Eric Klein at the Film Actors Workshop. Jency had the pleasure of study in-depth with legendary actress Diane Venora, who served as her private coach, and she also studied Method acting with Susan Batson at Black Nexxus for two years. Jency recently decided to return to Baton Rouge to pursue her career because of the plethora of film opportunities in her home state. She has had great success locally and feels like it is time to give back by helping actors develop their talent. She has acted professionally in films like Dallas Buyers Club and Inside Out. She also produced and starred in two short films called Painted Parakeets and Madeline's Oil.
