Jennifer was born and raised in the agricultural capital of California as the youngest of three children. She grew up both performing and competing in figure skating and starring in school plays.
As an elite figure skater, she turned professional her senior year of high school,and left home to tour internationally starring in ice shows.
She started studying acting seriously in college, and minored in both Theater and Chemistry. Jennifer graduated from UC San Diego with a B.S. in Physiology and Neuroscience. She then graduated from medical school and finished her residency.
Between acting jobs, Jennifer works part-time as a medical doctor in third world countries, and continues to train both on and off the ice when she's home.
