Jessica Harris was born Jessica Malka in Montreal, Quebec, Canada to Jewish immigrant parents. Her father, Maurice Malka, born in Casablanca works in the retail industry and her mother, Frederique, is a legal secretary. Early on, Jessica's appeared in various youth television programming like "Lassie" (YTV), "Watatatow" (SRC), and "11 Somerset" (Space/TQC) a double shoot - English and French - in which she was the series lead. In 2004, she booked the exciting role of Marquise Lefrançois in the award-wining "La Peau Blanche" (Best Canadian First Feature, TIFF). On top of being featured on the cover of Canadian Front Film Festival (MOMA), she was hailed as playing her role with "..live-wire brazenness.." (variety.com). Following this role, Jessica worked on numerous television shows in Quebec such as "Minuit Le Soir" (SRC), "Nos Étés" (TVA), and "Providence" (SRC) as well as completing a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Finance from Concordia University. More recently, she has been seen on "Being Human" (SyFy), "Satisfaction" (CTV), and "Hannibal" (NBC). Jessica has been married to Benjamin Jeffrey Harris since 2014.
