Jewel Valmont was born April L. McCallister on September 29, 1975 in Placerville, California. Valmont grew in the small California town of French Camp and attended East Union High School in Manteca, California, where she was a cheerleader. Jewel graduated from San Joaquin Delta College with a degree in theatre arts. Valmont worked as a clerk in an adult book store in Sacramento, California prior to her involvement in the porn industry. Jewel first began performing in explicit hardcore movies in the late 1990's. Among the notable companies Valmont appeared in X-rated features for are VCA, Metro, Vivid, Sin City, Adam & Eve, and Kick Ass Pictures. Jewel won AVN Awards for Best All-Girl Sex Scene--Film in 2001, both Best Supporting Actress--Video and Best Group Sex Scene--Video in 2002, and Most Outrageous Sex Scene in 2005. Moreover, Valmont was the Pet of the Month in the August, 2001 issue of Penthouse magazine. She has since retired from the adult film industry.
