Jillian Clare - Biography

Jillian Clare is an award winning actress originally from the beautiful Pacific Northwest. At five years old Jillian began singing and dancing on stage winning accolades and numerous vocal talent awards. Her acting career began when she was 6, entertaining audiences performing in a one person original musical titled 'A Dream is a Wish'.

Upon arriving in Los Angeles with her parents at age 8, Jillian quickly began working in commercials plus the big and small screen in numerous films and television shows including her double award winning portrayal of pre-teen 'Abby Deveraux' on NBC's Des jours et des vies (1965), back in 2003 and 2004. Most recently Jillian has been seen in guest star stints for ABC's Castle (2009) and Nickelodeon's Emmy nominated episodes of Victorious (2010) titled Freak The Freak Out.

No stranger to the stage either, her background includes lead roles in musicals, original pieces, an extended run as 'Scout' in "To Kill A Mockingbird" at just 11 years old and most recently an appearance as 'Nuna' in the groundbreaking Eve Ensler play "Necessary Targets" starring as a Bosnian refugee.

In early 2010, Miss Clare joined the ranks of New Media and began producing and starring in the multi-award winning teen series Miss Behave (2010), a role that won her "Best Lead Actress in a Drama" at the 2011 International Television Festival. After three seasons, the show has garnered a vast worldwide fan base, and received over 40 awards and nominations, including several producing accolades.

Jillian continues to find success in feature films with several starring roles of late including the recently released comedy, The Kitchen (2012), alongside Laura Prepon and'Bryan Greenberg' plus the upcoming holiday feature, By God's Grace (2014). Miss Clare will be seen starring in the highly anticipated thriller, 'Project Blue Book (2013)', by famed producers Lawrence Bender and Mike Fleiss followed by the indie horror film Cora, with Jillian in the title role.

Aside from performing, Jillian lends her support to a variety of causes geared toward children and her four-legged friends. Her entrepreneurial skills have recently led her to join the ranks of blogging with the launch of Teenage Wonderland - a fashion and beauty blog for young women.

Jillian created her production company, 'Whimsical Entertainment [us]' in 2012 as a creative outlet to produce projects that she's passionate about. Touting the tagline "A production company for the eclectic", Miss Clare intends to tell stories that have an impact on society and an everlasting impression with the audience.
