Jimmy 'Jax' Pinchak - Biography

Jimmy Jax Pinchak, a native of New Jersey, is a musician and actor. Pinchak recorded his first rhythm and blues album at the prestigious Westlake Studios in Los Angeles, and recently wrapped shooting Gavin Hood's Ender's Game, where he starred as "Peter Wiggin" opposite Harrison Ford, Ben Kingsley and Viola Davis.

Pinchak has always been a Renaissance Man, striving to learn it all, and musically he's been no different. Ever since he heard The Beatles at age eight, Pinchak knew that he couldn't be limited to just one instrument, so throughout the years he has learned bass, drums and harmonics, although guitar is still his primary. His musical influences include BB King, Robert Johnson, Eric Clapton and Bob Dylan. In addition to his many instruments, Pinchak is also an accomplished vocalist and lyricist, often described as as poetic and soulful.

Performing at venues across Los Angeles such as CBS Studios and at the Sherman Oaks Summer Festival, Pinchak's fusion of rock and blues has consistently stood out from the crowd. In 2010 he met the veteran music manager Martha Troup, who manages legendary band INXS, and has been working with her since. Pinchak's acting career has been equally successful. He has worked with some of the most distinguished names of our time, including Tom Hanks on The Polar Express and Bruce Willis on Hostage. He has also accumulated television credits, three series regular roles. One on the critically acclaimed FX show Over There, and a recurring role on Men Of A Certain Age. Pinchak also showed his range in the Matt Reeves film Let Me In.

Pinchak hopes to continue his career as a successful actor, while writing and performing his rock/blues music. Jimmy Jax Pinchak is represented by Beverly Strong at Strong Management, Martha Troup at TSA Entertainment and Domina Holbeck at Abrams Artists Agency.
