Joe Lara was born in San Diego, California to parents of Native American Indian, Polish, and Spanish heritage. Joe is a model, actor, producer, and country music artist.
Joe has starred in more than twenty films. Most notably, he was cast to play "Tarzan" twice: once in a CBS pilot, "Tarzan in Manhattan," and in 22 episodes of "Tarzan: The Epic Adventures," which he also produced.
In response to fan demand, Joe released his debut album, "Joe Lara: The Cry of Freedom." Joe is working on another country album and seeking acting roles.
