John Schile - Biography

Although John has been acting since 1964, he has been pursuing it full time professionally since 2005. He is a member of SAG.

Since retiring from business in 2004, he has appeared in over 30 film projects.

His 7th feature film in LA, "Going Down in La La Land", directed by Casper Andreas is now playing in film festivals globally. His first feature, "Netherbeast Incorporated", directed by Dean Ronalds, was released to DVD in Jan. 09. It's a film in which he appears with Dave Foley, Darrell Hammond, Robert Wagner, Steve Burns, Judd Nelson, Jason Mewes and Amy Davidson. On film John has played judges, detectives, policemen, businessmen, a producer, senator, general, killer, psychic, loving husband and a grandfather.

He has appeared in over 70 theatrical productions. Most recently he played 6 characters in the play, "Bill W and Dr. Bob at the Broadway Palm West Dinner Theatre in Mesa, AZ and also toured with the show to Dartmouth in New Hampshire in March 2011. He also received an "ariZoni award" as best supporting actor for 2005 for his performance in Terry Earp's original play about restaurateur Jack Durant, "In My Humble Opinion". He was nominated once again in 2006 for his portrayal of Mr. Saunders in Tempe Little Theater's production of "Lend Me a Tenor". He appeared in numerous industrial films and voice overs for Volvo Cars of North America, LLC while in their employ for 22 years.
