In 2010 He was casted as Carlos Salvatierra in "Mariela in the Desert" for the Denver Center Theatre Company. Associate Artistic Director Bruce Sevy was granted the opportunity of directing the Latin Award winning production written by Karen Zacarias.For his performance Serret won the Henry Award (CTG) for Best Supporting Actor in a Play. From the same play, he also received Best Supporting Actor in a Play from The Ovation Awards.
In 2012 Serret was awarded a Scholarship for the New York Film Academy.
